深圳珠宝博物馆 The Shenzhen Jewelry Museum is a cultural gem dedicated to showcasing the artistry and history of jewelry, blending traditional Chinese craftsmanship with modern design. It is the first public museum in China that focuses on jewelry. It officially opened on October 16, 2019. The museum is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of Jinzhan Jewelry Plaza, No. 20 Beili North Road, Luohu District, Shenzhen. The building area is about 2,610 square meters.
The museum has five permanent exhibition areas:
Treasures of Nature: Showcases natural gems and their origins.
Beauty of Objects: Displays various precious metals and jewelry.
Light of Design: Highlights jewelry design and craftsmanship.
Road to Shenzhen: Tells the story of the development of Shenzhen’s jewelry industry.
Dream of the Bay Area: Focuses on the jewelry industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
