China sends five satellites into orbit by sea launch

我国在东海海域使用长征十一号固体运载火箭，采用“一箭五星”的方式，成功将吉林一号高分03D和安溪二号等5颗卫星送入预定轨道。

China successfully sent five satellites into space from the East China Sea on April 30. The five satellites, including the Jilin-1 Gaofen 03D, were launched by a Long March-11 carrier rocket at 11:30 Beijing Time and have entered the planned orbit. The newly-launched satellites will provide commercial remote sensing data services for sectors including land resource survey, urban planning and disaster monitoring. This mission is China’s third sea-based launch mission, which further expanded the maneuvering range of maritime launch and accumulated technological expertise for future long-distance sea-based launch missions. The mission’s success will lay cornerstones for normalized and high-frequency launches at sea in the future.

Zhongxing-6D satellite

中国在西昌卫星发射中心使用长征三号乙运载火箭，成功将中星6D卫星发射升空。China successfully sent a new satellite into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province on Friday. The satellite, Zhongxing-6D, was launched at 8 p.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-3B carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit successfully. It mainly offers safe and reliable radio and television transmission services for users in the territory and territorial waters of China and the Asia Pacific region. The mission was the 415th flight of the Long March carrier rocket series.
