Crimson marsh glider ( Trithemis aurora ) 紫紅蜻蜓 The male of the species is distinctly different from the female. The male has a reddish-brown face, with eyes that are crimson above and brown on the sides. The thorax is red with a fine, purple pruinescence. The abdomen, the base of which is swollen, is crimson with a violet tinge. The wings are transparent with crimson venation and the base has a broad amber patch. The wing spots are a dark reddish-brown and the legs are black.
The female has an olivaceous or bright reddish-brown face with eyes that are purplish-brown above and grey below. The thorax is olivaceous with brown median and black lateral stripes. The abdomen is reddish-brown with median and lateral black markings. The black markings are confluent at the end of each segment and enclose a reddish-brown spot. The wings are transparent with brown tips. The venation is bright yellow to brown and basal amber markings are pale. The wing spots are a dark brown and the lags are dark grey with narrow yellow stripes.

60 km bike route opens in NT, Hong Kong

土木工程拓展署今日（28日）公布，連接元朗至上水的新單車徑明日（29日）開放予公眾使用，這段11公里長的單車徑的開通，標誌着整段60公里長、由屯門至馬鞍山的單車徑主幹線已完成。

新開放的元朗至上水單車徑途經元朗錦田河和上水塱原濕地，亦會途經新田一帶，包括大夫第和文天祥公園，單車徑沿途有配套設施如休息處，亦有單車匯合中心，設有單車租賃站、小食亭和洗手間等設施；屯門至馬鞍山單車徑的路線可瀏覽應用程式「香港出行易」。

新界單車徑網絡包含屯門至馬鞍山60公里長的主幹線和荃灣至屯門22公里長的主幹線。至於荃灣至屯門的主幹線，由荃灣青荃橋至灣景花園的一段長兩公里的新單車徑現正興建中，預計明年初開放。

運輸署 計劃於2020年下半年，在科學園及將軍澳實地試驗，以取得實際運作的經驗，包括了解公眾對單車徑上使用電動輔助單車 的接受程度； 電動輔助單車 與普通單車間的互動；以及對相關用家施加若干安全要求的成效。相關規管架構必須修訂現有法例，視乎實地試驗的評估，運輸署計劃於2021年展開法例修訂工作。

Plain tiger, African queen, or African Monarch ( Danaus chrysippus ) 金斑蝶
a medium-sized butterfly with a wingspan of about 7–8 cm (2.8–3.1 in). The body is black with many white spots. The wings are orange, the upperside brighter and richer than the underside. The apical half of the forewing is black with a white band. The hindwing has three black spots in the center. The wings are bordered in black and outlined with semicircular white spots.

Female great eggfly, common eggfly ( Hypolimnas bolina ) 幻紫斑蛱蝶
The upperside of the wings of the female is a brownish black and does not have any spots like those of the male. The edges bear white markings which are similar to those of the common Indian crow.

Common picture wing or variegated flutterer (Rhyothemis variegata ) 斑丽翅蜻别名彩裳蜻蜓 is a species of dragonfly of the family Libellulidae, found in South Asia. It is a medium-sized dark bodied dragonfly with colorful wings tinted with pale yellow. There are a few black spots on the apices and nodes of the fore-wings. There is a large patch in the base of the hind-wings, marked with black and golden yellow. In females, the apical half of the fore-wings are transparent; basal half tinted with golden-yellow with black marks. The apical ends of the hind-wings are transparent; rest of wings marked with golden-yellow and black.
It breeds in marshes, ponds and paddy fields. They appear to have weak flight and can easily be mistaken for butterflies.

Globe skimmer, globe wanderer or wandering glider ( Pantala flavescens ) 黄蜻 The dragonfly is up to 4.5 cm long, reaching wingspans between 7.2 cm and 8.4 cm. The front side of the head is yellowish to reddish. The thorax is usually yellow to golden coloured with a dark and hairy line. There were also specimens with a brown or olive thorax. The abdomen has a similar colour as the thorax.
The wings are clear and very broad at the base. There, too, there are some specimens with olive, brown and yellow wings.

Slender skimmer or green marsh hawk ( Orthetrum sabina ) 狭腹灰蜻
It is a medium-sized dragonfly with a wingspan of 60-85mm. Adults are grayish to greenish yellow with black and pale markings and green eyes. Its abdomen is greenish-yellow, marked with black.
